New A/B Test for Your Vote: Google Tests Adding a Blue Box to Competing Page Elements

What difference does a blue box make? For Google, it increased conversions 50.5% — which is a lot considering the gobs of  traffic Google gets. Check out this week’s test and tell us why you voted for the winner or loser.

Keep in mind the goal of the test was to encourage visitors to install a Google Maps driving directions gadget on their website. People who landed on this page were most likely to be business owners looking to add a driving directions feature to their site.
